Nova's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Nova's Story...

We recently rescued this sweet girl from the local shelter. We chose her because of her happy and loving temperament, which has continued to please us since getting home. She is calm and loves to give kisses and be pet and lay by your feet while watching TV. She is super smart, we have already done one training class with her, and she is starting to walk really nicely on a leash and getting better and better with her sitting. She even learned how to work stairs for the first time, and after only a few days, she's almost a pro.

She was spayed and is recovering nicely, which is why she's wearing a cone on her head in the one photo.

This sweet dog is perfect for someone with no cats (or an experienced trainer). While this dog is loving and lovable in every way with people, she has a tendency to lunge at the cats. So we're looking for someone with a calm, loving home where this dog will really get the life she deserves.

Please let us know if you're interested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nova, a North Hollywood Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in North Hollywood, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog from a breeder in North Hollywood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Hollywood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Hollywood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Hollywood paves the way for another one to be saved.
