Hi! My name is Oscar. I am an 8 year old pit bull/boxer mix. I am such a goofball and can make you laugh every day! I am very food motivated so training me is a breeze. When you feed me, don't forget to release me with a quick okay! Or I may just sit at my bowl until you remember to give me
permission to eat! I am not good with other dogs. I prefer to be the only one in the house. I grew up with cats but haven't been around them in a year so I am not sure if I still like them. I love people and adore kids! I have tons of loves and laughs left. Please don't let my age deter you! I am good on a leash. I am house broken, too! Please consider giving me a forever home. You won't regret it! And you will be sure to laugh all the time!! Please fill out an app and come meet me today! Go Good Humans Go!

Oscar is a participant in the The Love Pit Guest Dog Program, so her ongoing care and custody are provided by her current owner, not by The Love Pit Rescue.

About The Love Pit

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a foster/volunteer based 501c3 nonprofit dog rescue in Dallas, Texas. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pit bull type dogs in shelters and on the streets through rescue, rehabilitation, education, and advocacy.

Our goal is to educate the public about a breed that often falls victim to breed specific legislation, discrimination, and cruelty and promote responsible pet ownership through spay/neuter initiatives, vaccinations, and training resources.
