Ace's Story...
Hi. I'm Ace and I'm thought to be a border collie and lab mix puppy. The vet thinks I will be 50lbs or less when I'm full grown. They think I'm about 12 weeks of age and I weigh 12lbs right now. I am all puppy and cute as can be as you see. I love to play play play and try to get the other dogs and the cat in the home to play with me. Playing outside is fun and I do well on my walks, staying right by your side. I love to sleep in the bed with you or under the bed near you and love to lay at your feet, in my dog bed, or in my crate once I tire out from playing. I'm quite the good snuggler and I'm working really hard on my potty training. I've also learned to use the doggie door.

Foster Mom says I'll make a great dog for a family as I'm already showing loyalty and affection and I'm a super smart guy who will train well and will enjoy learning. She says I'll bond quickly with someone as I'm the age where I'm curious about everything and looking to someone for guidance. If you want that special person to be you, please email my friends at The Rescue Project at kcpetfinder@hotmail.com

Ace's adoption fee is $200 and includes age appropriate vaccines, neuter, microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ace, a Overland Park Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
