Additional Information: Rosemary is the seasoning your life has been missing - sweet, earthy; she compliments any mood or activity.
Rosemary stands out as an easy-going little lady that loves giving affection but has a clear sense of personal space and is equally content to be by your side or snuggling in bed with you on a rainy day (or hiding under the covers through the thunderstorm). Rosemary will follow you around the house to give you head bonk greetings and kisses, will play independently with her toys, and will meow to say good morning. She's charmed her foster parents, and would charm a fellow cat as well - so spice up your life by bringing Rosemary home!
If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. If the animal has "HAS APPLICATION" listed, they are still available to receive additional applications but also may be in the process of being adopted soon.

City Dogs Rescue & City Kitties is a foster based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. We focus on local adoptions in DC and the metro area of Maryland and Virginia. CDR&CK has a thorough adoption process in order to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first served model).
Adoption fees // Dogs/puppies - $395; $200 for senior dogs // Cats/kittens - $150 (unless otherwise noted)
Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter (unless specified). We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam prior to adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDR&CK. City Dogs Rescue & City Kitties is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
Cat specific: Rabies, FVRCP, Feline Leukemia vaccines. They are tested for FIV and FeLV.
Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Bordatella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.
Most cats and dogs will have a house training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
