Lennon's Story...
This little 3 year old female was so happy to have some human companion ship today that we took an extra-long walk. Lennon is young but not overly rowdy as some labs tend to be. She is a happy little girl who seems to adjust quickly to new situations. She is good with dogs and kids. She also knows how to sit & shake! Lennon is about 45 pounds

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lennon, a Elmwood Park Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
