My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie (formerly known as Chungly) is a 4 year-old poodle, weighing 11 pounds. When Charlie was rescued last March, he was limping with his coat a complete matted shell of a mess. However, Charlie was not able to get treatment right away because there were lots of injured dogs and cats from car crashes. Furthermore, the shelter did not have enough funding for all dogs and cats. Hence those dogs and cats that required emergency surgeries were treated first and Charlie was not one of them. While Charlie was neglected, there was the euthanasia list. Thanks to his good temperament and friendliness, Charlie was saved from the list.

Finally, Charlie got to see a vet this month and had surgery on both knees to correct her luxating patellas. And now Charlie is in his foster home learning to live in a family. We are sorry that he was neglected ever two months so really hope that Charlie finds a loving home soon.
