Meet Duncan! This guy is a stunning sable-colored mix that's eager to please and loves to play fetch – a tennis ball ROCKS his world! He also loves stuffed toys, and doesn't tear them to pieces.
Duncan is a very smart pup, and is responding positively to training and routine. He walks extremely well on a leash, and did we mention, he loves to play fetch? :) He has spent time with a trainer to help with basic manners, and he is a sweet, calmer older boy. He'll be an extremely loyal and bonded companion when he finds his forever family.
He will do best in a home without small children or cats, but he does well with other dogs when introduced properly!
If you'd like a great sidekick, apply to adopt Duncan!
Duncan is available for pre-adoption only at this time, as he is heartworm positive. Heartworm disease is a non-contagious and treatable condition in dogs, but is fatal if left untreated. For more information about the spread, treatment, and prevention of heartworms visit: http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/dog-care/heartworm
