My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This pretty girl is Petal. She's 3 years old and hoping someone finally realizes what a nice dog she is and takes her home. Petal is a transfer from the Cleveland City Kennels. She probably did not have the best life before ending up there. Now Petal is at Friendship ready and patiently waiting for a family to love her. She sure has a lot of love to give. She's a gentle girl that seems to like sitting on someone's lap more than playing. Petal is quiet and affectionate. She's great on a leash too. Stop by for a visit and see if Petal is the pooch for you.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
