Smokey is searching for a forever home!
He was adopted from the Bedford Co Animal Shelter a few months ago. Unfortunately, as much as his owner doesn't want to, he will have to re-home Smokey. Smokey will absolutely need a fenced in yard or to be leash walked only. He is a leash puller, but there are great options like a 'gentle leader' out there to control that. He is very friendly and a real lover of people. He likes children but will jump if allowed to. Basic training would easily correct this. He approximately 3 years old, neutered, housebroken, and up to date on his rabies vaccine. Smokey is said to do well with larger dogs. He is not a fan of cats or small dogs. Smokey is not at the shelter. He is staying with his current owner until a home for him is found. Please, absolutely no negative comments. We are thankful that the owner came to us and asked for help rehoming Smokey. Please Share! For more information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Act quickly to adopt Smokey. Pets at this Rescue Group may be held for only a short time.
