At Wags and Whisker's Pet Rescue: Goose is called Duke by his foster family and responds to his name. He is housebroken and knows come. He walks well on leash and does well on car rides. He loves to be with his people and he gets along well with other dogs as long as they are respectful of his personal space. He has to have access to water at all times because if he gets too thirsty he will drink too much the next time he has access to water and may throw up. The vet thinks that he may have been deprived of water for long periods prior to coming to the rescue because all of his tests have been in the healthy range. Since he drinks a lot of water he also needs to have easy access to outside. He can use a large dog door. There are goats, chickens and an outdoor cat at his foster home and he ignores them all. He has a very sweet disposition and would be great for someone who can give him some attention daily.
He would love to snuggle with you or hang out on his dog bed next to your chair. He is a great companion, always by your side.
