Radar's Story...
This is Radar. Radar is a 1 year old Corgi who came to The Rescue Project when his family could not care for him anymore. He is currently in a foster home and we are getting to know him. He took a few hours to adjust as is typical for a pet in a new place but quickly warmed up and was rolling over for belly rubs. He and his corgi foster sibling have become fast friends and are getting along great. Radar is described as being "pretty chill" and he is crate and house trained. He currently weight 16lbs. Email us at to meet Radar.

Radar's adoption fee is $200 and includes age appropriate vaccines, neuter, microchip, and heartworm testing.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Radar, a Overland Park Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
