Dash was rescued as a young kitty in Dubai in 2010 by his Rescuer. His Rescuer decided to foster him temporarily until he was socialized because living conditions for a very young kitten in Dubai were unfortunate. After a few months of socializing and care, Dash was ready to go to a loving home, but no one in Dubai would take him. He remained with his Rescuer. For the next couple of years, his Rescuer sought to find him a permanent loving home, without success. She is unable to permanently provide Dash with a home because she travels extensively. She is being transferred to Taiwan from Cairo, however, restrictions there are very intense to bring in a pet onto the island. The Rescuer does not wish to leave Dash in the unforbidding streets of Cairo since living conditions there are just as horrible as in Dubai. Dash's Rescer will be in the U.S. the beginning of July, but must return to Cairo on July 22nd. She is desperate to find a loving home, a caring family, and a good quality of life for Dash.
Sweet Dash is a neutered, short hair, male Arabian Mau. He has not been declawed, is current on his vaccinations, healthy teeth (due to dental cleaning), enjoys using a scratching post, and is Extremely Affectionate. Although Arabian, he has retained his Mau-like features of long legs, long body and tail, pointy ears, lovely green oval-shaped eyes, and long body and tail. Dash is described as a "bush cat", which means he loves to find dark places where he crouches down and watches the world from below. He is also described as a "grazer" when it comes to food consumption.
