Acorn's Story...
Acorn is 1 of a litter of 7. We pulled the mother pregnant, from a high kill shelter in North Carolina so she could have her babies in a safe place. As of May 21, they are now 8 weeks old and looking for their forever home. Acorn is working on potty training and we have also begun leash training and she is a work in progress. She is also being crate trained. Her breed is a guess. Her mother we think is a Sheba Inu and Shephard Mix and daddy, from the looks of it might have been a boxer mix. It is guessed she will grow to be about 50 pounds. She is up to date on her shots and is ready for her very own forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Acorn, a Middletown Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer for sale in Middletown, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
