Mar's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Mar's Story...
Mar is a 9 year old neutered black male lab who weighs 79 pounds.

Mar is a handsome and sweet guy that sadly finds himself in need of a place to live out his golden years. He was sad in the shelter and is looking forward to the luxuries of a forever home. He is good with other dogs, though doesn't have any interest in playing with them. He is a nice guy and walks well on leash. No cat history so cats are unknown. No kid history so approved for kids 10 and up.

UPDATE: Too MARvelous for words! Mar is a sweet 9 year old boy with a zest for life! Don't let his beautiful frosted face fool you. Mar loves to take walks, goes up and down stairs with no problem and is curious and interested in everyone he meets, 2 and 4 legged. He is housetrained and can be left alone with run of the house without incident. Mar is a world class snuggler and loves to curl up with humans on the couch. He is learning to enjoy peanut butter kongs and antlers. An an all around wonderful dog, Mar would be the perfect addition to any home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mar, a Annapolis Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Annapolis, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Annapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Annapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Annapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Annapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
