Tinker is a 7 year old, spayed Miniature Pinscher who needs a home because her owner went into hospice care. She is very overweight and weighs about 20 lbs. She is a friendly, somewhat shy, dog who gets along with adults, other dogs and cats, but may not do well with younger children. Tinker (as in Tinker Bell) is looking for a home where both she and her best friend Mickey (also a Miniature Pinscher) can live together. They currently enjoy sharing a crate together and they’ve been keeping each other company for many years. Tinker is up to date on her vaccinations and will be getting her microchip and heartworm test on May 1st. She is a lower energy dog who enjoys going for walks and snuggling with her human once she is comfortable with them. She is also house-trained and not protective of her food or toys. Tinker would enjoy a fenced yard , but it isn’t a requirement. She would be happy to get her exercise with regular walks. Tinker will be getting groomed and photographed soon, so watch for her photos. If you are willing to open your home and heart to a couple of seniors in need of a good loving home, please consider Tinker and Mickey.
