My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hound mix, male, 3-4 years, 45 lbs.
Jemison is a sweet and happy friend. He cuddles respectfully, always placing a paw or nudging his head against his humans before laying down. When he’s not lounging around he loves running after tennis balls, and always has energy for long walks or jogs in the country. Jemison can get overwhelmed with a lot of action and excitement, but will thrive in a quiet, adult-only home with a nice yard to explore.  He is too interested in cats to live with them. Jemo is an excellent listener, and will wait patiently for food, treats, and attention. When his humans come home he is beside himself with joy, ready to greet them with a huge smile and wagging tail. He is the perfect companion

Or visit our site (http://peppertree.org/adoptlist.php) and learn about other Peppertree dogs. *Note: visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
