Roxie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Roxie's Story...
Roxie is my name, playing is my game! I love them all, dogs big and small! Cats are ok too!
I am an 11 month old border collie mix. For my age, weighing in at 45 lbs, I likely won't get much bigger. I am the perfect size for any home! I am potty and crate trained. I walk well on a leash, like taking long walks and enjoy a game of chase in the yard. My foster mom says, I am very smart. I have already learned how to sit and will wait for my meals. What tricks can you teach me?
I am a fun loving, happy girl and I like to play. My dream forever home is an active family with kids and a doggie playmate. I like to be inside and spend time with my people. I love kids, especially ones that are low enough for me to kiss their faces. My favorite place is wherever you are! If you are looking for a playmate, constant companion and snuggle bug all rolled into one, I am your girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxie, a Weatherford Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Weatherford, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Weatherford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Weatherford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Weatherford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Weatherford paves the way for another one to be saved.
