Personality:Very shy (you are unable to touch this animal without it running away or being fearful, etc), Inquisitive, Lazy

Favorite treats: Papaya treats, pasta.

Favorite toys and activities:I am a master builder of nests and burrows and my favorite nesting material are paper napkins and paper towels. I am an exercise fiend. I like to run during the night and roll (in my exercise ball) during the day.

Potty trained: No

BFF: No, this animal prefers to live alone.

Other species pet has been exposed to and reaction: Cats watch me and I show them how to roll with the flow.

Health concerns: None.

Behavioral concerns: Yes, Basil is in our trust training program for his nervousness with people. I now take treats from my foster mom and eat them in her presence, so I'm getting better with hands! I will stop building my nest or taking my nap if you call me for a treat. I will take the treat gently from your fingers and nibble on it while you watch.

Other notes: I really appreciate creativity in my bin and take full advantage of chewing on any paper or wood toys you make such as popsicle stick houses, toilet paper roll castles, and stick bridges.
