Squints's Story...
Hey there, my name is Squints! Funny name I know but my foster mommy said I was named after the Sandlot movie. I haven't seen it but heard its good. I am about 10 weeks old and I am trying to find a home I can call my own. I'm your typical sweet little princess. I'm laid back and absolutely LOVE to cuddle. But rest assured I hold my own when playing with my siblings! I would love a lap to cuddle in! It is my favorite place to be and where I will always be if allowed!

I am currently in Macon, GA but I have seen lots of my friends get to go with these super nice people on a bus ride and they told me they were getting to go to their furever families! I sure hope I get to go on a bus ride to my family! You see, there are so many extra doggies down here that we have plenty to spare so I want to let my fur coat be put to good use and find a family up north. I think I would look super cute in a jacket! My adoption fee is $425 and that includes all of my age appropriate vaccinations, deworming and parasite prevention, heartworm prevention, spay/neuter, health certificate, transport, and a microchip! If you think you may want to give me an awesome home then please fill out an adoption application from the website www.fureverafterrescue.org! Hopefully I get to see you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Squints, a Southbury Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Southbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Southbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
