Charles's Story...
Meet Charles! The most adorable little 5 pound yorkie/shih-tzu mix. Charles was relinquished by owner due to working excessive amount of hours, she decided he needed a family to offer him love and attention she couldn't offer him. Charles is great with other dogs, does good with kids and is easy to introduce to new family and invironment. He does great in a leash, good in crates, not a barker, and very obedient. He's a innocent joyful little furball looking to be part of a forever family who can spoil him and love him very much! I'm short in words when i say how wonderful this little guy is! If you're interested in meeting him contact Peekadog@Outlook.com to schedule a meet and greet. Charles would be eager to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charles, a South Gate Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Shih Tzu for sale in South Gate, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in South Gate.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Gate already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Gate breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Gate paves the way for another one to be saved.
