Koda came to the shelter as an owner surrender. He is a sweet boy, gets along well with other dogs. He is very clean in his kennel and very friendly with new people. Koda would do best in a home without cats or small children. He is a very active dog and would enjoy being able to spend time outdoors or hiking. Pet adoptions, low income spay/neuter assistance, low-cost dog and cat food, low-cost vaccination clinics, microchipping, low-cost pet supplies, dog washes and nail trims (Saturday's) and pet cremation services.

Our Adoption Process...

Female Cats $145.00
Male Cats $110.00

All cat adoption fees include leukemia testing, spaying or neutering, entire series of vaccines, de-wormer & flea treatment while at the shelter, microchipping, free vet check within 14 days of adoption at any local Columbia County Veterinarian, a complimentary adoption take-home packet and a carrier.

Puppies (under 6 months of age)................................$250.00

Dogs (over 7 months of age).......................................$200.00

All dog adoption fees include , spaying or neutering, current on vaccines, de-wormer & flea treatment while at the shelter, microchipping, free vet check within 14 days of adoption at participating local Columbia County Veterinarian, complimentary take-home adoption packet and a leash and collar.

All adoptions must be reviewed prior to approval. In order to ensure that every dog and cat goes to the appropriate home, Columbia Humane Society reserves the right to approve or deny any adoption application for any reason they see fit. A home check may be performed in order to determine suitability.
