Buddy's Story...
Meet Buddy!
He's the most adorable little 20 pound little guy! He will be ready for adoption at the end of May. He's small, loves people, loves to run around yet loves to sit in your lap! He would be best in a home with a fenced yard. He does jump a bit, so toddlers likely wouldn't be best in a home.

He is doing very well with crate training/potty training at his foster home. He is doing great with the other dogs as well.

If you are interested in Buddy, please fill out the online application at: http://www.mcpawscare.org/adoption-form.php

NOTE!!!! We will ONLY respond when an application has been delivered and approved. We are an all volunteer organization who mostly all work full-time jobs. Please be patient with our process. Thank you!

His adoption fee is $125.00.

He has all of his shots, flea/tick treated, neutered, microchipped etc.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Hillsboro Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund for sale in Hillsboro, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Hillsboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillsboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillsboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillsboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
