Indica's Story...
**PLEASE READ TO THE END FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION.**
Indica. This little lady is 6 years old and 6 lbs. She is a confident little lady. She would love to go out and about with her people, but she is content staying home as well. Indica is friendly and well mannered. She isn't high energy and has no problem cuddling up for a nap after a stroll in the back yard. I wouldn't consider her lazy though, she would love going for a walk in the park. She's a very "go with the flow" kind of lady.
If you would like to adopt Indica, please fill out an application at www.TexasChihuahuaRescue.com. Her adoption fee, including vetting paperwork, transport and microchip registration to adopter, is $400.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Indica, a Jersey City Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Jersey City, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Jersey City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jersey City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jersey City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jersey City paves the way for another one to be saved.
