Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Spike is an adorable two-year-old, playful and fun, two-year-old, male shoulder-riding/toupee-wearing black-spotted white cat looking for a loving guardian.
You can hold Spike in your arms like a baby. He is super snugly and sweet. But, he easily gets over-stimulated so probably best without children. He’s currently sharing a room at the shelter with two other cats. I don’t know if he’s ever met a dog, but shelter staff think he might enjoy a canine friend.
Spike is healthy, micro-chipped, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and virus-tested negative. He has all his claws and uses a scratching post.
If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Spike please fill out CARE’s online adoption survey:

His adoption fee of $150 benefits the rescued pets of CARE.
Spike is currently at CARE’s facility on the north side of Chicago.
