Princess Pickle's Story...
Ok, so I’m in a bit of a Pickle here, and I’m hoping you can help. I’m without a home, and I could really use a new one! Oh, don’t worry—Pickles can be sweet; we’re not all sour! I’m definitely a sweet Pickle…one without all that sour brine. Now, of course I love to be treated like a Princess, but I sure don’t act like one! I enjoy getting down and dirty, romping and playing with all my canine pals, but I can also be quite dainty and respectful around kitty cats! I know how to behave around children and keep my crate clean and proper. Yep, I’m just a sweet Princess who’s in a Pickle, and that Pickle is homelessness! 2 years old-66lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes spay, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess Pickle, a Portland Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
