My name is Hatcher and I am a 1 year old, 32 pound, shar pei mix. At least that's what the vet says; he says my little ears, brushcoat fur, size and shape all say that I am a shar-pei mixed with nobody knows what :-) I also have the cutest underbite :-) Critter Cavalry was actually at the shelter pulling some other dogs into rescue, when they saw me in a pen with my lip split open. They added me to the pull list and took me right to the vet, where I had all my vetting completed and my lip sewn up. I had bite wounds all over me and the split lip, so somewhere another dog beat me up. All of my boo-boos are getting better and the scabs are falling off. Now, with all of that going on, I have continued to be one of the HAPPIEST boys ever! I love to sit on your lap and kiss your whole face. I get along great with other dogs, but I think I would be totally happy to be your one and only BEST FRIEND! I am totally loyal and will sit by you for hours and follow you wherever you go! Just look at my adorable face!! My foster mom says she always smiles when she looks at me, because I just OOZE happiness. I am crate trained and doing great potty training. I can climb chain link fences, so any type of fencing will need to be wood or electric. I would be great for a family with children over 10 years old, I am just a little too bouncy for small children. I would be a great running partner, hiking buddy and I LOVE to go for walks on the leash and meet everyone we see along the way! If you would like more info on me, please contact my foster mom at CheKatRice@gmail.com she can tell you all about me!
