Titi's Story...
Hi there! I am a young 2 year old girl, rescued from a high-kill shelter in Quebec as an owner surrender, through no fault of my own. I am very sweet, polite, and love to cuddle. I get along with other cats - I am very gentle and well-behaved, even when playing. I would do well with cats who are calm and laid back. My foster family says I am very sweet, love to give kisses and head bumps, and purr like a machine! I will be shy at first, but will come around and warm up very quickly. I am very tolerant of physical touch, and am easy to manipulate.

I am spayed, up to date with shots, and in good health. I am well-groomed and low-maintenance; I would be perfect for a household who wants an affectionate, cuddly girl to join their family. I will need someone who is very patient, and has some experience with cats, to help me feel safe and come out of my shell.

If you're interested in getting to know me, please let the folks at Safehome know! I can't wait to meet you :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Titi, a Toronto/GTA Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Toronto/GTA, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Toronto/GTA.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto/GTA already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto/GTA breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto/GTA paves the way for another one to be saved.
