Larry's Story...
I look a little raggedy these days, but I'm sure I'll look much better soon. I would appreciate some help in emphasizing my handsome coat through brushing which I dearly love. I was found by a really nice person who could tell I was sick, hurt and needed help. I was taken to the hospital for treatment. Fortunately for me I found another kind person who took good care of me until a bed opened up at FieldHaven. I've been living the good life for a few weeks now. I'm gaining weight. They feed me such really good wet, yummy food. I'm hoping another kind person takes me home with them soon. It'll be so great to have a loving, warm, home of my own. I'll reward you with unending devotion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Larry, a Lincoln Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
