Here's what the humans have to say about me:
URGENT FOSTER OR ADOPTED NEEDED!!!!
April was adopted by a loving couple 6 months ago but shortly after her adoption Mom was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer.:( She is finding it too difficult to care for April and they need to return her to the rescue. We desperately need a new foster (or adopter) for April so that we do not have to place her in a boarding kennel.
If you foster, rescue pays all expenses, you supply the love.
April's story...
April and her 3 puppies were rescued from a very small rural shelter in North Carolina. April had not had an easy life. She was chained outside 24/7 and had evidence of previously overgrown collar scars. She was emaciated and heart worm positive when PYP rescued her. She was placed in a loving foster home and we worked on getting her healthy. She came through her heart worm treatment like a superstar! She is heart worm negative and has absolutely no side effects from it. She is a beautiful and sweet little Beagle/hound type mix. Your All American Mutt! April is @35lbs and super sweet! She is now house trained and loves to run and play.
April seems to be dog friendly but we would need to dog intros with potential new fur siblings. April is not a fan of the feline crowd.
Please consider opening your heart and home to this sweet girl. She is about to lose her family, her home, and all the stability she has come to depend on.
