Hello, my name is Goose. I am about 8 months old and about 25lbs. I love to play with my foster brothers and I get along with cats, even though the cats can be pretty mean with those things called claws. I am good in my crate, but sometimes I whine if I can't see you, i still have accidents in the house, but my foster mom is helping me with potty training, she has to keep an eye on me while in the house though I don't normally let her know I need to go, I just go. I can usually go about 6 hours before I need to go back outside. I love to give kisses and lay in your lap, my most favorite thing to do is sprawl out on my couch! I get so excited meeting new people that sometimes I run back and fourth in the house. My foster mom tells me I'm good on a leash, but occasionally I am unsure of how to walk with it on, I get excited with all the sights and smells!! I'm learning how to dig as well, although my foster mom isn't very happy with me when I do. I know how to sit and stay, and I am learning the word "off". I love to play and have so much energy!!! When it comes to children I am cautious at first, but I warm up after some coaxing and being told it's okay.

There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommeynd submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.
Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524, or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application for Goose.
