My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi all, my name is Wendi. I am a 5 months old Schnauzer Mix girl. I weigh 11 lbs now, but am expected to be 20 lbs when fully grown.

Why is a cute girl like me in rescue.....well my story is short but very sad. I was born on Christmas Day 2016, and a couple of months later adopted by my mom.

My mom and me had some great times together, she made sure I wanted for nothing. My life with mom was cut very short, as just a few weeks ago she went into the hospital for surgery, but it didn't go well. My mom passed away. We had no other family, so a very kind a neighbor took me in and found Schnauzer Rescue to care for me.

I am now in foster care and having a blast. I love my foster brothers and sisters. I even like the furry thing they call a cat. I love toys, chew bones, and running in the yard. I even enjoyed eating a couple of those cicada things?.

I am completely house broke, and crate trained. I do cry some when placed in my crate for my foster parents to leave, but settle quickly. At night I go right in my crate and sleep there all night. I love to be where ever my people are. I still have some sharp puppy teeth to lose, and have lots of puppy energy.

My foster mom thinks I'd do best in a fenced area with another pup.

I am utd on shots and to be spayed soon.
