Maggie Mae's Story...

We got a phone call about three months ago from a woman who was very distraught. She had found two newborn kittens.  Their eyes were not even open yet.
There were in terrible condition - with maggots crawling all over them and in and out of the umbilical cord opening that had not healed.
But that didn't stop Lynn. She went right to work and cleaned up the two babies and sterilized their wounds. It took over two hours.
Sadly, one did not survive. But Maggie Mae was a fighter. She survived her terrible ordeal and is now a little piglet, eating like no tomorrow, and doing very well. The last pic was taken about two months ago. The others are all current. (11/17/12)
Maggie Mae is now available for adoption. She is a diluted calico.   She is in foster care right now and has become a very sweet, lovable and playful little girl. To adopt Maggie Mae contact us at Lynnsanimalrescue@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie Mae, a Marlton Calico kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Marlton, or seeking a Calico kitten from a breeder in Marlton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marlton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marlton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marlton paves the way for another one to be saved.
