Chevy is a good old country kitty who has had a hard life until he was rescued by Purr Partners. You can tell by his scars and rugged good looks that he has had to fight for survival throughout his short life. The fact that he has reached 2 yrs old as a stray/farm cat attests to his skills. Now Chevy loves to be with his humans, soaking up the love he missed in his early life, and follows his foster mom or dad around. He enjoys a good lap and some snuggle time, but then he is ready for some enthusiastic play, making up for the kitten-hood he missed. He has never met a full food bowl that he doesn’t like and his kitty litter habits are excellent. He quickly adapted to staying in a safe home and snuggling up to dad for the night. Chevy would be best as an only cat with someone who is cat savvy. No preteen children. Chevy is OK with dogs that ignore him from a distance but not close up. He would love to have the run of his own home and loving humans. He is patiently waiting for that special human to find him.

About Purr Partners Feline Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Purr Partners was incorporated in 2009, and we currently save and adopt out around 500 cats and kittens each year. We have no paid employees, and as volunteers, we do this because there is such an overwhelming need for rescue for cats and kittens in North Carolina, and because we care very much about the lives of these forgotten animals. We believe that every furry feline deserves a loving family, and try to make that happen. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, and offer their time and talents to help save lives. We are always looking for new volunteers!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have three adoption centers: Wake Forest Petsmart, Six Forks Petsmart, and Capital Crossings Petsmart. Our cats and kittens are at the Wake Forest and Six Forks Petsmart all the time, and at Capital Crossings 2 weeks out of the month. We have volunteers available to allow people to meet our rescues every Saturday from 11 - 3 and every Sunday from 12 - 4. We also arrange individual meets and greets when possible and at different times. We do require an approved application before these individual meetings will be set up. These meetings may be at Petsmart or the foster home of the cat or kitten.

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in possibly adopting, please go to our website and complete an application. This is not a commitment, but when we receive it, someone will contact you within 24 - 48 hours. The application is the first step in our process. Once you are approved, we can make arrangements for you to meet any of our cats or kittens. If you are not sure which one you might be interested in, we can help you narrow your search!
All our cats and kittens are tested, spayed or neutered, UTD on vaccinations, wormed, and microchipped before adoption.
