Chloe's Story...

This sweet girl, Chloe, is a 2 year old Catahoula Mix.  Chloe was dropped off at the local animal shelter with (11) beautiful babies, we took her and the babies in 4 weeks ago.  She is very sweet and gentle, she loves to cuddle with her humans, run and play in the yard with the other foster dogs and of course, check in on her babies and make sure they are doing good.  Chloe is heartworm positive, which means she will need to go back to the vet late June to receive her heartworm treatment (paid for by the rescue).  Outside of having heartworms, she is crate trained, house trained and knows basic commands.  Chloe is great with other dogs, adults and kids.

Chloe's adoption fee is $200.00 which includes all vaccinations, spay, microchip and 1 month of heartworm preventative. If you are interested, please complete the  Adoption Application on our website at   a4apetpantry.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chloe, a Hillsboro Catahoula Leopard Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Hillsboro, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog dog from a breeder in Hillsboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hillsboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hillsboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hillsboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
