Hey there! The name is Mac. I am a one-of-a-kind male Chihuahua mix born in 2008. I weigh around 7 pounds.
There's one thing I know for sure and it's that you're never going to meet a guy like me! I have so many unique qualities, it's impossible to not be intrigued! To begin, the first unique thing you're going to notice about me is my walk. I have the most endearing, wobbly walk that makes me feel and look like a gangsta! You see, I came to MaxFund with a previous back injury that causes me to walk this way. But you know what? I don't mind, not one bit! In fact, I love my gangsta walk and all my friends at the shelter tell me it's endearing!
I also like to play hard-to-get but once you've won me over, I'm a loyal companion for life! When you first meet me, I might come off a little standoffish, but with enough time and positive reinforcement, my heart will be yours! However, because I take a little time to warm up I would feel most comfortable in a home without children.
Underneath my tough exterior, I'm truly just a big softie! Like I said before, once my heart is yours, its yours forever! I'm extremely loyal and its evident in the way I look at my humans! I have this certain look that I give, and once you see it, you'll know! I will look up at you with a twinkle in my eye, my ears sticking straight up, and you'll just know it's my way of telling you I love you! Bringing me home forever also means you'll have an extra shadow! I love wobbling behind my person everywhere they go!
Although I'm much more of a ‘people-dog,' I could definitely live with other animals! I mostly just ignore them and prefer to keep to myself or to my human. If you have any other dogs in your home, bring them on down so we can see if we'd be a good match!
