Raven and Sasha are a package deal. They come together as if they were one. Their owner was put into a nursing home and had to leave them behind. Both are sweet, and they are committed to each other. Raven relies more on Sasha than Sasha does on her. Sasha, a Pomeranian, is 13 and has a lovely, long coat as does Raven, a Spitz/Pomeranian mix of 11. The reason why they look shaven is that, when they came to us, their coats were so matted that we couldn't untangle them. Of the two, 15 lb. Sasha is the more active, enjoying time walking with each other. Raven is a larger dog at about 40 lbs. (We haven't broken it to her yet that she needs to go on a diet!) They both do well on a leash and get along nicely with other dogs, too. So. Here they are, a wonderful pair of sweet dogs that need a home together. It's the only way we will adopt them out. Together. As one. (posted 5/27/17, ME, N/A)
Raven and Sasha are being sponsored by The PetFinder Foundation as well as Susie’s Senior Dog Grant Program which is fully funding the adoption and transport costs of both dogs to the same home.
**It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our wonderful dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our many years in rescue.**
