Twiggy's Story...
Hey there, my name is Twiggy! I'm a beautiful chihuahua mix born in May of 2009. I currently weigh about 6 pounds.

I bet you're wondering how a sweet lady like myself made her way here to MaxFund. One Friday evening I wondered away from home and I just kept walking and walking not really knowing where I was headed next and forgetting how to figure out my way back home. When suddenly a wonderful Samartian found me and brought me here to MaxFund. It's been quite the adventure, but I'm now on the search for my forever home.

If there were three words I could use to describe myself which is nearly impossible it would have to be sweet, loving and loyal. I'm such a sweetheart with a heart of gold, I would hands down make such a wonderful lap dog. I'm actually an expert lap dog, I'd be more than happy to join you for leisurely walks around town. I'm a pretty mellow and low key kind of gal. Who would love nothing more than to join you on the couch and snuggle up with one another and watch some television my personal favorite channel would have to be the Animal Planet.

I have met some canine pals here at the shelter and those interactions have went great, but if you have any potential fur siblings for me to meet. I'd love to meet them first before going to my forever home just to make sure that we're a great fit for one another.

Are you looking for a sweetheart like myself to bring some love and light into your house. Well look no further my friends, ask the front desk to meet with me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Twiggy, a Denver Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Denver, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
