Casper's Story...
Casper is 4 no old black lab mix and weight around 20 pounds.
He is neutered. Up to date on all shots and microchip.
He's a typical puppy but just finds things to get into and inquisitive not wanting to miss anything. He will snuggle up or crash on the couch for an afternoon nap and likes all kinds of toys. He's been sleeping thru the night on a dog bed . Working on house training still but not peeing everywhere usually goes out the dog door. He hasn't been too mouthy either but that stage may be still to come. He's super sweet and likes to play with the other dogs big or small

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casper, a SOUTHINGTON Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in SOUTHINGTON, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in SOUTHINGTON.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in SOUTHINGTON already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a SOUTHINGTON breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in SOUTHINGTON paves the way for another one to be saved.
