My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adorable Labrador Puppy Alert!!!

Farfel's Rescue was notified by our compassionate rescuer in Texas that a very beautiful and sweet white Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever mix puppy would be scheduled for euthanasia in just a few days. After one look at the sad eyes staring out of the shelter photo and reading the reports of Daisy's sweetness that speaks of a desire to trust and bond...we accepted her immediately into Farfel's Rescue.

Little Daisy is beautiful...with the softest and kindest eyes that just reach into your heart. The rescuer spoke of this 8 week old, 10 pound sweetheart as a little ball of love. We've committed to finding little Daisy a kind and very loving family who will enjoy her for her devotion, sweetness and strong desire to please. Once she becomes comfortable in her surroundings, Daisy is a friend that will make you laugh at her silly puppy antics and want to hold her tight just because she's so incredibly cute!

We would love to see Daisy in a forever home where she becomes a true member of the family. Active retirees, individuals who work out of the home or families with respectful children would be perfect for this sweet young girl. Daisy also appears to have a calm side that loves nothing more than to settle into her person's lap (or lying close on the couch) and stay put with an occasional lick and a smile of delight at her good fortune.

Daisy will be up to date on her vaccinations as well as spayed/microchipped when she arrives in Boulder.

From all the changes in Daisy's life as well as time spent in a high-kill shelter, she has developed flea dermatitis (or an allergy to fleas)..as can be seen in her shelter photo. This is very easily dealt with when there is less stress, clean conditions and the absence of fleas..as is the case in her Texas foster home. Prior to Daisy's transport to Colorado, her foster family will be giving her medicated baths, premium nutrition and prescribed medication to help with the healing of her skin and new hair growth.

If you are interested in providing a wonderful home for this very sweet, smart, loving and devoted best friend, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730.
