Pugsley's Story...
Pugsley is the sweetest 11 year old pug looking for his forever home to live the rest of his life. This little guy does not act like he is 11 years old! He gets around great. He can go up and down stairs, loves long walks but is also more than happy to snuggle with his people! He does great on a leash. He currently weighs about 22 pounds but has a few more that he needs to gain. He is housebroken and does not need a crate. He loves other dogs, cats, kids, men and women and is just looking for someone to love him. He especially loves eating and treats! He came to us from a home where he
was neglected and malnourished with ear and skin infections but has been gaining weight and getting so much better.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pugsley, a Columbus Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
