Lil's Story...
Just a lady who wants to remind everyone she’s a lady worth having!

What you need to know about this sweet little gal:

Quiet elegance. Lil is everything an elegant, mature lady would be: quiet, independent, and wonderfully courteous and polite with all beings. Lil is a little nervous around people she isn’t used to but won’t fuss. She isn’t much of a pile of cuddles but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t love you. You’ll always notice that she’s close by as you move about, especially when you are outside!

Finishing school post-graduate. Being an experienced lady, Lil has some impeccable manners. She comes when she’s called, doesn’t destroy anything, perfect on a leash, and well-behaved when she is left home alone. Best of all, a lady can handle her business appropriately outside! She’ll lose some of that poise when it comes to crates but will settle quickly.

Breaking the “perfect lady” act. Lil is an escape artist! Be watchful of doors, openings, and such. If there is a sudden loud noise, Lil will scurry and hide. Since she likes being close to you, she may shake a little when left alone in a strange place.

Lil’s tiny size makes her easy to have in any kind of home and her personality is so enjoyable. She simply just needs to be reminded that she matters and people care for her. Your home is needing that extra heart and soul that Lil will bring about!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lil, a Houston Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Houston, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
