Hazel's Story...
Woof Woof! My name is Hazel and I am a 3 month old sweet little girl. I was rescued along with my siblings and mother from a really bad hoarding situation. All of us had demodectic mange which is a hereditary mange and nothing contagious. Because of the situation we were in our little bodies could not fight off the mites. None of us had hardly any hair. We have been in a foster home for a little over two months and we are being treated with nexguard. We all have hair now and we are happy and healthy. I am now looking for my forever home with my forever family. The last picture is a picture of my mom. Please consider me for your newest family member.

Act quickly to adopt Hazel. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hazel, a Hershey Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Hershey, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Hershey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hershey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hershey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hershey paves the way for another one to be saved.
