Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sammie is the sweetest girl who loves everyone she meets including young children. She loves being in the same room as her human but does not need constant attention. She does get very excited when someone comes home and will “talk” to you and let you know how excited she is, even if you have only been gone a short period of time. She does not jump up on her human friends but does wiggle and want some loving. If she sees a leash or if you ask her if she wants to go for a walk she gets super excited and will “talk” to you and let you know she is ready to go. She loves her walks and is also able to do easy hikes with some elevation. She walks well on a leash but will occasionally lung at other dogs. Most of the time as long as the other dog is not too close or you give her verbal commands to be nice, she will ignore the dog. Sammie loves riding in the car. Sammie will go into a crate but is not a big fan of having to spend much time locked in the crate. She loves going in and out of the doggie door and is house trained. She was raised with cats and does not chase the cats in her foster home. She is curious and does not always walk away when they hiss. She has reacted and lunged at the cats a couple times when they have swatted her on the nose. It was reported by her previous owners that she can be dog aggressive so it is best that she be the only dog in a home. She has shown some separation anxiety so she does need to have access to look out of your front windows and have access to rooms she thinks you may be in. She has had some losses and changes over the past year, so patience in this area will be need. She has shown some improvement over the time she has been in her foster home (or maybe she has trained her foster mom). Once you meet her she will win over your heart, like she has done with all the visitors in her foster home.
