Sweet Caroline's Story...
Sweet CAROLINE! Good times never seemed so good! We have a lot of reasons to sing about this girl! Caroline, who is only around 6 months old, was found as a stray and turned into the shelter after having a traumatic accident. We believe she was hit by a car and unfortunately had to have a double hip replacement due to the pelvic and femur injuries she sustained. However, she now has a clean bill of health, so all of that is all behind her and Caroline is ready for her bright future! She is happy, healthy, and can't wait to find her FORever home. Her difficult past did not hurt this girl's spirit or slow her down at all. She can run, climb, and play with the best of them and she's super sweet to boot! Caroline is fostered near Huntsville, Alabama is spayed, vaccinated, fully vetted, and microchipped. If you would like to meet this little survivor you can email info@forrescue.net with any questions or fill out an application at forrescue.net/cat-application!

Caroline is seriously an AMAZING kitten! Now she just needs her forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweet Caroline, a Nashville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
