Meet Ryley!             DOB: April 2012

Ryley was rescued as a teenager along with his siblings (who have all since been adopted), from a life on the streets in the Apple Creek area. A big handsome dapper striped tabby, with alluring green eyes who has a typical cat purrsonality, fun loving & affectionate when he wants to be and sometimes just prefers to be left alone, in which a quick swat will let you know when that is. When he wants attention there is no time limit, he will sit and accept for as long continue to pet him or your hand gets tired. Riley has spent most of life in the shelter and is patiently waiting to know what it is like to have a “furever” home and family of his very own. An independent, social, playful and attention seeking fella, Riley often greets you when you enter his room. Amazing with all his roommates, he has been described as a “lover not a fighter” because he is always “dancing” (head butting and rubbing up against) or curled up with one or more of his roommates. If you want to be Ryley’s “furever” home & family, give him the attention he craves, when he wants it and give him the unconditional love he deserves, please fill out an adoption application and contact us.

About North Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

North Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered Canadian charrity made up of dedicated volunteers concerned with the welfare of all cats and kittens. We rescue, foster, provide veterinary care (including blood testing, vaccines and spay/neuter) and arrange adoptions for abandoned or rescue felines.

For ten years, North Toronto Cat Rescue has been helping hundreds of souls in need wherever we find them, offering love, nourishment, safety, medical care and the hope of a "forever" home.

We are not a spay/neuter and release group as we believe all these animals deserve comfot, warmth and love, particularly during the long cold winter days here in Canada. They will remain with us until they find a permanent home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Currently, we have a private Shelter for our animals so it is by appointment only. However we also have a partnership with Pet Value in Aurora (Bayview and Aurora Road) where many cats and kittens are also housed.

We attend local Fairs, Events such as "All About Pets" Show in Toronto, for example, and other fund-raising events during the year in the Toronto area.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adooption contract is found on-line.
