Meet Penny! Penny is 4 year old dachshund mix who weighs approximately 22 pounds. This gal is a volunteer favorite, and once you meet her it’s not hard to see why. Penny is a bubbly, red-headed goofball that is beyond sweet and guaranteed to make you smile for hours on end. She loves being the center of attention, and some of her favorite activities include giving kisses, getting her belly rubbed, and snuggling under the covers. She has the best temperament, as she knows when to be calm and when it’s time to play. Attentive and intelligent, Penny is a total people pleaser that would make the perfect addition to any family. We would love for her to have a family who is home a lot, as she absolutely adores being in the presence of humans. Penny would also love to be the only dog in the household, although she does get along with other dogs and is currently fostered with several. This sweet doxie has so much love to give and has been patiently waiting for an amazing, caring family to call her very own.
