Sammy is a sweet, calm, 8 year old, Pug/Chihuahua mix that is fondly called a Chuggle. He weighs 11 pounds and he has short, cream colored hair and big, expressive brown eyes and little ears give him a funny little look on an adorable body and face. Sammy came to us because his elderly owner passed away and we have found him to be the perfect gentleman. He is completely house trained to go outside but will use training pads if the necessity arises. He is quiet and well behaved in a crate, but he has such wonderful house manners that he does not have to be crated when left alone in the house. He is used to being taken out on a leash but also loves the freedom of a fenced yard. Sammy's owner was an older lady and Sammy does love women. He is very attached to his foster mom and loves to sleep next to her in the bed. He is a lap dog, who would happily spend his days laying in the lap of his favorite person. Sammy gets along well with all people and dogs but he would also be fine with being an only dog. He is looking for a quiet home perhaps with an empty nest couple or a retired mom that can spend a lot of time with him. He will bark a little but not much and he is most calm and sweet boy ever. Talking walks are great for him because he does so well on a leash! An apartment lifestyle is fine for him. He adores company and would be the best companion a person could want in this world.
