My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wow, this girl is turning out to be such a great pup! She is only about 7-8 months old - she has the most beautiful, shiny white big girl teeth. And a lovely soft black and tan medium length coat. You can see why we've guessed a little at her breed mix, with that lean and pointy nose and long, floppy hound dog ears. Jemima is a super nice, friendly girl. She is really enjoying learning to please by "sitting to ask" and chilling out in her crate. She's not a huge fan of the crate as she loves to be outside, sniffing and sniffing and sniffing. Did we say hound?! There is no doubt of her nose hound origins for sure.

Jemima is already very good on leash for a youngster. She loves people and enjoys greeting everyone she meets. She still can get a little too excited and jump up every once in awhile but she is learning fast and is generally very polite. She is great with other dogs and also good with the indoor cats at her foster home. Even if the cats run down the hallway, she'll only follow half-heartedly and will "leave it" right away when asked. She is doing pretty well on her house training but like most puppies gets distracted by all the interesting ;things to see and sniff so forgets to ask to go outside. She is good at asking when she is in her crate.

Jemima is up to date on her vaccinations, is spayed, and microchipped. She is ready for her forever home!
