Smokey Bear (Shadow)'s Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and not good with kids.

Smokey Bear (Shadow)'s Story...
Smokey Bear (named Shadow by his adopter) is around 8 years of age. He was recently returned because his family was moving and couldn't take him. He is housebroken. He tends to run from small children so it would be best if he goes to a home without small children. He likes to go for morning and evening walks. He was kept indoors and was a good boy.

I am a gentle and quiet companion. I like belly rubs and to go on walks. I am not fond of small children as they are unpredictable, so I would prefer a home with adults or older children. I am a mellow gentleman and have been told I am sweet. I am ready to go home now.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Smokey Bear (Shadow), a North Richland Hills Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in North Richland Hills, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in North Richland Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Richland Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Richland Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Richland Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
