Facts about Sugar

  • Breed: French Bulldog
  • Color: Tricolor (Tan/Brown & Black & White)
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Female
Sugar is a 2 - 3 year old French Bulldog. She is 20lbs of tooth aching sweetness. Sugar is a retired breeder and is now in a foster home where she is learning how to be a proper house dog. Sugar loves to snuggle with her people on the couch, sleep in your bed and bet with you wherever you go.

Sugar lives with 3 other dogs and 2 human kids and is working on her potty training and basic obedience. She loves the company of other dogs and would love a home with a friend for her to play with, preferably a young gentle playful pup.

While Sugar does ok with the children in her foster home, Sugar would prefer a more adult home with kids over the age of 12 - she prefers a calm household where she can lounge about, go for long walks exploring the area and then take a nap on a soft bed. High pitched voices, action-packed households or homes where frequent football parties occur is not for her.

Requirements to be considered to adopt Sugar are a fully fenced secure yard with grass where she can roll around and run zoomies in, kids over the age of 12 if any, and no cats. She will chase your cat and she is fast so if you have felines you need not apply. If you are planning to have human children in the future, Sugar is not the dog for you.

Sugar requires a grain free diet for life. She is kennel trained, leash trained and loves bully sticks which help keep her teeth clean.

Sugar is up to date on her shots, spayed and micro-chipped. If you are interested in learning more about Sugar or potentially meeting her please fill out an application.

Her adoption fee is $850.00

About Forever Home Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Forever Home Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We receive dogs from owner surrenders and overcrowded shelters. All of the dogs are housed in private, loving foster homes in the greater Seattle area. We assess their behaviors and health and help them relax during their transition to a forever home. The dogs remain in foster care or in our kenneling facility until they are adopted. All of the dogs visit our vet for a health screening, are spayed or neutered, microchipped and are current on routine vaccinations.

Forever home dog rescue is not a shelter and thus you cannot see the dogs without an appointment.

We need foster homes! Thinking about adopting a dog, but not sure yet about which breed or if you're ready for the long-term commitment? Consider becoming a foster parent. A foster dog placement can be anywhere from two weeks to several months. We provide any dog supplies you may need and cover all necessary medical costs for your foster dog. You provide the love and attention and bring the dogs to adoption events at least twice per month.

Interested? Send us an email at and we'll send you a foster application. It's lots of fun and you will meet lots of dogs and other people who love dogs.
